Helicopter Landing

On Monday December 29, 2008 the Nottingham Fire Company was dispatched to Veterans Park for a Landing Zone Assignment. New Jersey State Police’s SouthStar Medivac Helicopter landed in the park to transport a trauma patient to Cooper Hospital in Camden. The patient’s injuries were so complicated that Capital Health System’s Helene Fuld Medical Center was unable to handle the case.
