Hazmat Call

On Monday, September 2, 2008 Station 17 was called out to single vehicle MVA leaking fluids. A new driver unaccustomed to the vehicle miscalculated a turn and hit the curb. Upon hitting the curb, the vehicle’s fuel tank ruptured. The spill was less than 10 gallons according to Hamilton Hazmat and the DEP and was contained.
